ABSTRACT
The tourism industry players in Pangandaran District are currently experiencing several problems. Apart from the Covid-19 pandemic, they have not taken advantage of technology-based financial services (fintech). The tourists have not felt the convenience of fintech in every transaction, and the perpetrators have also not been able to obtain financing sources from fintech. This community service aims to socialize technology-based financial services for tourism industry actors in Pangandaran District. The implementation method is done online. Participants in the socialization consisted of tourism industry players consisting of hotel managers, restaurant managers, and travel agency owners. This socialization activity involved the Head of the Pangandaran District Tourism and Culture Office, the Pangandaran District PHRI Chair, and the East Priangan Region Financial Services Authority. The results of the socialization activity stated that participants gained an understanding of fintech literacy, especially those that are beneficial for the development of the tourism industry. This can be seen from the questions asked by the participants in the socialization activities. The participants became more aware of the types of fintech services needed, namely, peer-to-peer (P2P) lending and digital payment platforms. P2P Lending is needed because the fintech platform can provide a source of financing for tourism industry players. Meanwhile, a digital payment platform is needed to facilitate the transaction process.
